Variety is a proud supporter of all children's hospital and paediatric wards in Australia. In 2009, Variety provided over $2 million in equipment such as neonatal monitors, prosthetic limbs and humidicribs.
Major grants include $800,000 to the Flinders Medical Centre SA for an urgently needed upgrade of the paediatric ward, $150,000 to the John Hunter Hospital in NSW for a wonderful Fairy Sparkle magic garden for seriously ill children and their families and $65,000 to the Myo-Electric Limb Clinic, Westmead, to name a few.
Because Variety pays for the purchase of equipment, we are 100 per cent sure that every dollar we provide goes where it's most needed.
