The Variety Kids Christmas Party is the Centre’s single largest event utilising five exhibition halls plus the allocation of space for bus parking. The Centre generously donates the use of these five exhibition halls for two days to support Variety.
The sheer scale of Variety’s Kids Christmas Party involves the Centre hosting 5,000 special needs children with approximately 2,000 carers and volunteers.
Ton van Amerongen, Chief Executive of the Exhibition Centre said, “We have been hosting the Variety Kids Christmas Party for 12 years now and are very proud to be able to play a part in bringing happiness to very special children, and their carers and volunteers, every year.”
Their support over the years has extended to some of their staff also becoming involved with the event, truly a special partnership which Variety cherishes.
