Rod Dalglish
General Manager
Rod has overall responsibility for the management of the Victorian operations for Variety. Rod has over 15 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector in administration and finance roles. He has a Masters’ Degree in Accounting, is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). Rod commenced at Variety Victoria in 2010 as Business Manager and was promoted into the General Managers position in September 2011.

Nicole Leppitsch
Senior Fundraising Manager
Nicole has the overarching responsibility for all fundraising revenue including managing the Events, Sponsorship and Marketing Communications departments. Nicole has an extensive Not-for-Profit, Marketing & Communications background. She joins us from the RSPCA (Fundraising Manager) and the Starlight Children’s Foundations (Fundraising & Events Manager) with Marketing & Communications roles with Basketball Victoria, News Limited and The Brisbane Lions AFC. Nicole commenced her role with Variety in November 2011.

Julie Baxter
Variety Bash Event & Development Manager
Julie is responsible for all operations and logistics for the largest charity motoring event in Australia the Variety Bash. She oversees the whole event including the growth and development of the Variety Bash experience. Julie has had a long standing career in event management producing large corporate and community events such as New Years and Moomba for the City of Melbourne. Julie began with Variety in 2007 as a Variety Bash Coordinator and was promoted to Manager in February 2009.

Kerry Bradley
Variety Program Coordinator
Kerry coordinates our Variety Programs - Future Kids, Freedom and Caring for Kids and is the first point of contact for families in need. Kerry also manages our monthly business networking forum the Variety Suits Club. Kerry has held Senior Executive positions in Marketing and Business Development in Australia, New Zealand and Asia for local and multinational corporations. Kerry commenced his employment with Variety Victoria in July 2003.

Janette Connolly
Events Manager
Janette has been with Variety for over 7 years and oversees all of our corporate events. She sat on the board of management for two years prior to taking the position of Events Manager for Variety Victoria. She also manages the Variety Christmas Party for Children with special needs as well as developing our smaller motoring events from the Variety 4WD Trek to the Variety Splash.

Pauline Graafmans
Event Support Officer
Pauline has recently been promoted from our Administration Support Officer role and now provides support to our corporate events department. Her main roles include coordinating our Variety@Work program, Bikes4Kids Bike Presentations and the Variety Christmas Party for Special Needs Children. Pauline came to Variety with experience in administration roles with Flight Centre and Life Education. Pauline has been with Variety since 2009.

Christina Mackieson
Database Administration Officer
Christina has implemented and is the coordinator of the new Variety Victoria database. Christina comes to Variety with a Bachelor of Arts from Latrobe and has an extensive background in the retail and not for profit sector having worked for The Cancer Council and several major retail outlets. Christina commenced with Variety in September 2011.

Jemma McCullough
Variety Bash Entrant and Event Co-ordinator
Jemma’s main responsibility is to provide support to our Variety Bash entrant's, be their first point of contact and to assist teams with their fundraising initiatives. She has years of experience in the events industry both in the UK and in Australia including a role with The National Heart Foundation. Jemma commenced employment with Variety in March 2010.

Emma Mills
Administration Support
Emma coordinates reception duties for the Victorian office and provides administrative support to all Variety team members and departments. Emma hails from New Zealand and has been living in Australia since December 2011. Having previously held assistant accounting roles, Emma commenced with Variety in April 2012.

Kathryn Norton
Marketing and Communications Officer
Kathryn is responsible for promoting Variety Victoria and its programs, fundraising initiatives and services. She also coordinates all media and publications, including the Variety website and social media platforms. She comes to Variety from previous roles with DeakinPrime, the corporate arm of Deakin University and more recently Kantar Media, a media company in the UK. Kathryn joined Variety in November 2011.
