At a launch evening on 21st October, the full 2012 Variety Vic Bash Route to Hamilton Island was announced. Travelling through four states before reaching our final destination in north east Queensland, the 2012 Bash will experience many icons of this great country.

2011 Variety Vic Bash Across Bass Strait
On Monday 22 August over 285 entrants and officials departed Melbourne for 12 days of fun and fundraising on the 2011 Variety Vic Bash.
The Bash headed south to explore the Tasmanian wilderness. Beginning with a night in regional Victoria, the excited Bashers boarded the Spirit of Tasmania for a night on the high seas. Arriving in Devonport the Bashers spent the next 10 days travelling around Tasmania, experiencing many attractions including Cradle Mountain, The Nut in Stanley, the rugged west coast via the Western Explorer, a Gordon River Cruise, West Coast Wilderness Train Trip, Port Arthur, beautiful Wine Glass Bay and the Great Lake.
This year marks a milestone for the Vic Bash as we celebrate our 21st birthday. Since its beginnings the Bash has travelled over 85,000 km’s and raised in excess of $17 million. This year alone our wonderful entrants raised $1.15 million!
