Highest Fundraiser - Awarded to the team which raises the highest amount of money. This year the award goes to Car 55 - Martin Stone, Peter Savage and Andrew Crammond for raising $185,450.20! Well done!!
- 2nd Highest Fundraiser - Awarded to the team which raises the second highest amount of money. This year the award goes to Car 1717 - Steve Donnellon, Greg Fisher and Chris Kost for raising $86,449.90!
- 3rd Highest Fundraiser - Awarded to the team which raises the third highest amount of money. This year the award goes to Car 420 - Mick Kirwan, John Williamson, Ross Gamble and Rick Johnson for raising $76,470!

2011 Variety Bash Fun Award Winners
Although the following awards are "fun" - they are considered very prestigious and the cars that recieve them are often very honoured and humble. We'd like to congratulate all of our winners and nominations for a fantastic year, it was a very difficult year to narrow down one winner in each category - so well done!
- Overall Winner - This is a prestigious award presented to the team that epitomizes the spirit of the Variety Bash. There were 6 cars nominated for this award, and this year's winner is Car 44 - "The Taxi" - Gary Caddy, Peter Pearce and Dominic Walsh. Well done guys, thanks for keeping us entertained!
- Variety Bash Chairman’s Award - Awarded to the team which really deserved a pat on the back which this year was Car 167 - "The M&M's" - Mary Weerdenburg, Frank Weerdenburg, Wendy Townley and Neil Townley.
- The Rod Collins Spirit of the Variety Bash Award - Awarded for innovation in fundraising or participation. This year's winners were entertaining, they were never out of costume, and they kepy everybody smiling every day. This award goes to Car 28 - "The Teletubbies" - Matt Madge, Barry Williams, Robert Norris and Steven Ansaldi. Well done team.
- Variety Bash Encouragement Award - Awarded by the Variety Bash Manager this year was won by Car 3610 - "The Hob Knobs" - John Sanderson, Jack Frewin, Darren Martin and Graham Trevaskis. Brought together by their team captain, this crew had 3 members who had never even met each other before the Variety Bash - but they had absolute ball!
- Stuffed Compass Award - Awarded to the most geographically challenged team which this year went to Car 2020 - "Bob the Basher" - Steve Smith and Billy Geko.
- The Harry Burghardt Memorial Award - Awarded to the team which overcomes the most obstacles on their way to the finishing line. This year's winner by a unanimous vote was Car 1975 - Mark Jeffs, Gavan Heritage and Peter Bradbury.
- The Dick Casey Memorial Award - Awarded to the crew which, despite total bewilderment best participates in the spirit of the event. We couldn't look past these guys, Car 93 - John McRae, Carolyn McRae and Trevor Wallace.
- Best New Crew Award - Awarded to the best new crew. This year we had 5 fantastic Rookie cars, all deserving of recognition, but this year's award goes to Car 1968 - Michael Whiteside, Julian Whiteside, Ken Hosken and Alan Salton. Well done guys - we hope to welcome all of our 2011 Rookies again next year.
- Best Theme Award - Awarded to the crew which has themed themselves and their car in the true spirit of the event. There were 36 cars eligible for the award, with a fantastic display of creativity and fun. This year's winners were never out of their elaborately themed costumes. Congratulations to Car 43 - "The God Squad" - Wayne Dalton, Jane Dalton, David Wright and Jill Wright.
- Spirit of Lakes Entrance Award - Awarded to the best presented car which this year goes to Rookie Car 4 - "The City of Ballarat" - Ross Wootton, Robyn Wootton, Kay Bradley and Rob Siemensma.
- Best Raffler Award - This award is presented to the person or team who sells the most raffle tickets which this year goes to Martin Stone of Car 55 for selling $7000 worth of raffle tickets! At $2 a ticket, that's a fantastic achievment, well done Martin!
