About the Brats Bash
Many Bashers over the years had given thought to those children who are usually very much involved with the pre-event planning and preparation but who get left behind to wonder what the Bash is really like and to wait impatiently for their parents return to be regaled with tall stories of exploits and adventures in Australia’s outback.
This is how the Brats Bash began in 2006. The first event kicked off “Kids to Cameron Corner” (a unique location where three states meet at one point). The journey saw them travel through Victoria and New South Wales and experience the vast outback of Australia.
Not before long and it had come around again and 2007 saw the Brats Bash head to Mt Kosiuszko. This time the experience was to explore the natural wonders of the High Country, traveling for eight days through Victoria, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory “Canberra”. The end saw the Brats Bash raise much needed funds for special needs children in Victoria. The Brats Bash happily handed out grants to a local school and community group in the Bendigo region.
