Variety Splash is a three day event where the sailing and power boating communities come together for a fantastic cause and three days of fun on and around Port Phillip.

In its first five years, the Variety Splash collectively raised over $500,000. For those taking part in the 2013 Variety Splash, you will not only have a great time – you will have the knowledge you have helped bring sunshine into the lives of many very special children.
The event is open to sail and power boats of all shapes and sizes and whether you have your own boat or not, it is easy to get involved in this fun-filled event.
With both on-water and off-water activities, the Variety Splash provides a weekend of enjoyable, relaxed boating combined with unique social events.
What’s more, you will be helping Variety.
Where does the money raised from the Splash go?
Variety - the Children’s Charity in Victoria is dedicated to empowering children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs to live, laugh and learn.

Thursday February 21
Melbourne – Mornington
SPLASH! SPLASH! Before we bid bon voyage, registration takes place at Docklands and is a great opportunity to catch up with fellow entrants. We start our on-water fun with a procession down the river, once out on the bay we will head south to meet up in a secluded bay for a raft-up picnic lunch.
Our first day destination is Mornington Yacht Club where we can all catch up on the day’s adventure and reminisce of previous boating adventures before the Welcome Cocktail Party at Harba Restaurant.
Friday February 22
Mornington
As a first for the Variety Splash, day two takes entrants off the water for a tour of the Mornington Peninsula, visiting some of the regions hidden wineries and a famous local brewery. This off-water day is a great opportunity to welcome day guests of families and supporters along to experience the Variety Splash.
Variety Splash formalities and announcements will take place this evening with a dinner at the Mornington Yacht Club.
Day 3
Saturday February 23
Mornington - Brighton
Back into the boats and onto the water, we will navigate from Mornington to Brighton today! Look forward to final night celebrations at Royal Brighton Yacht Club.
