HOW TO GET INVOLVED IN THE SPLASH

There are a number of ways in which you can enter the Variety Splash. You have taken the first step, by showing interest, and below are a few suggestions on how you can get involved.
Boat Owner Entry - GOT THE BOAt but no paddlers
So you’re a boat owner who is interested in joining the Splash? You can register your boat as an entrant and the Splash team will work with you to find and put together a team. The Event Team will endeavour to find suitable Private or Corporate Teams who are interested in joining you (and any required crew) on your boat for the duration of the Splash. Your new team of crew mates will then work towards achieving the fundraising target.

Alternatively if you have a boat and team of friends, family or work colleagues, you can manage your own entry to work towards achieving your fundraising target. Now is the time to leverage some of those corporate relationships and see your network supporting a good cause. By inviting to host your corporate partners on-board your boat, you will be providing them with an opportunity to entertain their staff, clients or suppliers on a unique event. Whether funds are raised through collected donations (large or small), holding fundraising events (sausage sizzle) or by donations directly from team members, the Event Team will support you in your fundraising endeavours, and have some great ideas up their sleeves to ensure you are successful in your efforts.
private and corporate team entries - got the team but no paddle (boat)
If you can put together a team but have no access to a boat, you can still be involved in the Splash. Team entries are companies or private groups who enter the event as a team and then are paired with an available boat from the pool of Boat Owner Entries. All you need to do is contact the Event Team, who will find a boat perfect for you and your friends / colleagues to join us for three days of fun on the Bay. Then set and start working towards your fundraising target and we will look after the rest!
