There is nothing better than seeing the absolute joy on a child’s face when they are presented with their much needed equipment. With no government funding we rely heavily on the kindness and generosity of the community to make this possible. By raising funds for Variety you will not only be transforming the life of a child, you will be increasing their quality of life.
Our community fundraising kit provides you with everything you need to assist Variety through fundraising, just 3 simple steps to help special children in need.

1. Choose your event
If you are not sure how you would like to fundraise for Variety we have a bit of inspiration for you. Whether you are thinking big or small, the kit includes a list of fundraising ideas that is sure to get you on your way.
2. Get Fundraising
After you have chosen your fundraising event, fill in the fundraising form from the kit and send it to Variety. You will receive a number and authorisation letter that lets the community know that you are authorised to fundraise on Variety - the Children’s Charity’s behalf. Once you have your letter you are ready to hold your event, so get fundraising!
It’s a good idea to make it as easy as possible for your supporters to donate to your event. Variety recommends setting up a fundraising page on EveryDay Hero. This secure e-commerce site gives your donors the opportunity to donate online, receive an instant receipt, and gives you some great tools to promote your event via email and social media networks. www.everdayhero.com.au

3. Return your funds
Now that you have held your event it is time to return the fundsraised. You can do this via direct deposit, cheque, money order or cash.
