Gemmill Homes Variety Shield a big success

Wildcats take out inaugural Gemmill Homes Variety Shield Match
The Inaugural Gemmill Homes Variety Shield clash between the Perth Wildcats and Melbourne Tigers was held last Friday, January 6th  and proved to a be a tremendous success for all involved.

Not only did the Wildcats come out with a hard fought win, but fans donated generously, obliging to tin shakers and helping raise $2000 for WA kids in need.

This was the first time the special charity match was held, with plans for the Gemmill Homes Variety Shield to become a permanent fixture in seasons to come.

Variety Youth Choir sings at gameThe Perth Wildcats players wore their white uniform featuring the combined Gemmill Homes/Variety event logo. The singlets of players from the Wildcats worn in the game are now being auctioned off with the proceeds all going to Variety.
