How we help
Vision For Life
Having the chance to make the most of an education is the bridge to a brighter future.
For many children, moving and communicating better means greater independence, freedom and self-esteem.
Caring For Kids
Learning that your child needs access to a rare and often expensive piece of medical equipment or service can be a daunting experience.
The Variety Smile Program offers financial and practical help to children affected by a rare disease or condition. It also facilitates access to information, resources and services for the families and carers of children affected by a rare disease or condition.
Wigs for Kids
Variety – the Children’s Charity provides wigs to kids who have lost their hair due to Alopecia or another medical condition such as cancer.
Schools and organisations
Variety helps schools and organisations with things like all-ability playgrounds, Liberty swings (modified for special needs), and sunshine coaches
Liberty Swings allow children in wheelchairs or afflicted by a physical impairment the chance to enjoy the joy of swinging.
Variety Sunshine Coaches provide transport to organisations that cater for children with physical disability, regional or social disadvantage, to enable them to access the community and to experience a range of special programs and activities.
Variety’s Scholarship Program provides scholarships for children with an existing talent, who are disadvantaged or living with a disability, to achieve their full potential and to follow their dreams.
