Day 6

Rainbow Beach Lay Day

After a busy few days of dirt roads and driving, the Bashers enjoyed a day off relaxing at the stunning coastal town of Rainbow Beach.

A small group of Bashers gathered on the beach in the early morning for a memorial for fellow Basher, Trevor Jarvis, who passed away earlier this year. It was a beautiful tribute to a good friend.

The weather certainly put on a show for the Bashers with clear blue skies and perfect temperatures to relax in the park overlooking the beach for a laid-back lunch.

Taking advantage of the ideal location, many of the Bashers headed out in some of the Auxiliary Workshop vehicles for a drive along the beach to top off the perfect lay day.
