Autism SA

Introducing one of our successful Variety Sprout Fund applicants! Meet Autism SA, who over the next 3 years will dedicate the $150,000 grant to develop a public-access sensory or social space at their new site at Elizabeth providing a mix of; quiet nooks, noisy headphones, “magic” projections, gaming equipment, IT resources, wi-fi, soft mats, LEDs, interactive and therapeutic activities to meet sensory & gross motor skills-development needs.

The Carly Ryan Foundation

Introducing one of our successful Variety Sprout Fund applicants! Meet the Carly Ryan Foundation, who over the next 3 years will dedicate the $150,000 grant to creating a safer community through educational awareness of online safety and the prevention of physical, emotional and sexual abuse of youth. Project Connect will connect enquirers to the relevant support services. Online safety education programs will also be delivered to address the social and legal impacts of sextortion, pornography and image based abuse and enable action within communities to stop these behaviours.

Danny’s Place

Introducing one of our successful Variety Sprout Fund applicants! Meet Danny’s Place. They support young people suffering with obesity (and their families) through a unique, innovative, fun and compassionate clinic operating outside of a hospital setting and their Be Your Best (BYB) Program. Over the next 3 years they will dedicate the $150,000 grant to supporting an additional 30 SA children a year, who otherwise would not be able to access the service due to finances and the limited availability of public resources.

Down Syndrome SA

Introducing one of our successful Variety Sprout Fund applicants! Meet Down Syndrome SA, who over the next 3 years will dedicate the $150,000 grant to provide much needed consultancy services to 36 children, their families and their childcare, kindy or school in regional South Australia. This program will give these children living with Down Syndrome the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

Encounter Youth SA

Introducing one of our successful Variety Sprout Fund applicants! Meet Encounter Youth, who over the next 3 years will dedicate the $150,000 grant to fast tracking the growth of their Party Safe Education program, reaching an additional 30,000 students and another 800 parents and teachers. This will help to close the gap between regional and metropolitan schools when it comes to drug and alcohol education.

Food Bank SA

Introducing one of our successful Variety Sprout Fund applicants! Meet Foodbank SA, who over the next 3 years will dedicate the $150,000 grant to rolling out the Fresh Food Friday Program. Providing disadvantaged school kids in South Australia with fresh food to take home over the weekend to last until they get back to school. This ensures their nutritional needs are met and they don’t go hungry!

Multicultural Youth SA

Introducing one of our successful Variety Sprout Fund applicants! Meet Multicultural Youth SA, who over the next 3 years will dedicate the $150,000 grant to introduce – Gateway: Refugee Child and Adolescent Early Intervention and Prevention Program for children with special needs. Still Aware

Introducing one of our successful Variety Sprout Fund applicants! Meet Still Aware, who over the next 3 years will dedicate the $150,000 grant to create change by raising awareness of the very real statistics of stillbirth in Australia and the production and implementation of a community support program. This will provide expectant families with an education platform, direct and online support, as well as online and face-to-face clinical training to reduce the chances of infant death. 6 babies everyday are stillborn in Australia and this can change.
