As you’ll appreciate, we are constantly reviewing the latest advice and information from the relevant authorities against our detailed COVID-19 Response Plan, with a clear focus on protecting our staff, volunteers, sponsors, entrants, community and indeed our organisation for the future. Given current social distancing protocols, we please ask that wherever possible you use phone and email to connect with us and we will endeavour, as always, to respond as efficiently as possible. We are also actioning some workplace changes with all staff taking leave and transitioning to working from home. Mark, as CEO, is working with the team, in consultation with the Chairman and the Board, to formulate and endorse an initial 90-day Plan, which includes discussions relative to our events and fundraising. We are committed to doing everything we can to protect the continuity of our business and events while adhering to all necessary Government protocols. We are committed to keeping you up-to-date with any decisions as they are made, but as you’ll appreciate the environment is changing so rapidly. Rest assured we understand and appreciate the challenges relating to fundraising and are working hard behind the scenes to do what we can to support you and to explore new and innovative ways of raising funds for the children and families for whom required assistance will be even greater. We look forward to staying in touch and expect to update you again next week.
