Assistance is available for Western Australian children aged up to 18 years of age, who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs. Variety also supports schools, community groups or other organisations that help kids in need.
To apply for assistance, you must be able to demonstrate a genuine need (including financial evidence) and information on how the assistance requested will meet this need.
In most instances, you’ll also require supporting letters from relevant professionals (e.g. Specialists, Therapists, Teachers, Local Coordinators) and quotes for the items requested.
We strongly encourage organisations to contact Variety grants staff at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (08) 9355 3655 to discuss their eligibility before submitting a grant application. Individual applications for support will continue to take priority and so organisations are less likely to receive funding from Variety WA at this time. This includes applications for Sunshine Coaches and playgrounds which are usually considered by the Variety WA Grants Committee in a specific funding round in October.
You will require reference letters from relevant professionals (e.g. Specialists, Therapists, Teachers, Local Coordinators) to support and endorse your request as well as quotes for the items requested.
