Elizabeth, Liz and Felicity (AKA Ports, Barbs and Flic) decided on New Years Day that this would be the year they would do the Variety Bash! It wasn’t that they were sitting there deciding what they wanted to give up in 2017; instead, they were deciding what they wanted to take on!
Embarking on the Variety bash journey was a dream that each of them individually had from an early age; having hosted, welcomed and watched “Bash” events over time. Put the them together and it was bound to happen. Three energetic, busy, committed and professional women who’ve been active fundraisers and who love and appreciate life were bound to stumble across Variety and want to commit!
Their car theme is ‘Alice in Wonderland’. Their car is called Wonderland and they are three Mad Hatters. Why? Well, as quoted in the movie… ‘Through the looking glass… life, what is it but a dream?’ it’s all about ‘figures of fun’ and the journey to ‘there and back again’. But most importantly it’s about, ‘a story, the truth and a true story’.
Oh, and because they LOVE a tea party.

What are they looking forward to?
As rookies, these ladies are looking forward to so much about the event – meeting the kids their fundraising is assisting, meeting fellow ‘Bashers’ and visiting rural communities.
Why did they choose the Bash?
All three crew members are active fundraisers who have each welcomed Bash events into their communities over the years – so they finally took the plunge and signed up!
