The 1974 Dodge Monaco is equipped with a cop motor, 440 cubic inch plant, cop tyres, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It’s the model made before catalytic converters so it’ll run fine on regular gas. Painted up as the iconic ex-police car from the movie ‘The Blues Brothers’ there could be no other theme for these mates.
These guys are back for Bash number 2 and are forward to spending 4000-odd km in an uncomfortable car on bumpy roads with some of their best friends…
How they met...
The crew met at the infamous late night screenings of the Blues Brothers, which ran for 20 years first at the Valhalla cinema in Richmond, then the Valhalla in Northcote (which later became Westgarth Cinema).
Plus they know how to shake a tail-feather!!
They're getting the band back together...
