Boho Babes
It’s a special year for the international Boho Babes this year. The team has a virgin onboard from Sydney, Peta Paterson who has been a great supporter of our car for a few years now and finally decided it’s time to jump aboard. Peta brings new skills to the car in the organizational department and a new order of packing the car, keeping it clean and generally encouraging the other Babes to follow suit. Good luck with that Peta!
Vicki Baigent from her new home in Queensland joins the team again and will bring a glowing Qld. tan to the team. Vicki is a specialist in all things beauty and will make sure the girls’ look and feel their best for each day’s journey and tasks. Together with Lauryn Weatherall a SA Variety Bash stalwart and Adelaide’s most savvy mortgage broker, the girls are clocking up 20 years of bashing each this year and with that goes all things 20. There will be 20 hours of play and 4 of rest on the Bash for Lauryn and Vicki, at least 20 km of driving for both of them, 20 minutes of navigating and 20 minutes of back seat activities each day. With 20/20 vision Lauryn and Vicki will keep the team on track both during the day and also will be handy for spotting new night activities. We congratulate Lauryn and Vicki on 20 years of bashing and wish them a great trip in 2017.
Liz Travers is still making the trip from Bali each year to join the team. Liz will be looking for some 5 star accommodation along the track to keep up the standard she has been accustomed to in her luxury villa accommodation in Bali. Her navigational skills are widely known and the team quite rightly feel a little nervous when Liz is in the front left hand seat. She is known to have a little song in the car so listen up for the vocals!!
