Prahb is a bright and curious child from the Northern Territory who has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder Level 2.
Alongside his diagnosis, he experiences sensory challenges and language delays, which have made everyday communication a significant hurdle. For Prahb and his family, finding a way for him to express his thoughts, needs, and emotions was a top priority – but accessing the right tools was not easy.
Thanks to a grant from Variety NT, that helped purchase a specialised communication system designed to support children with complex communication needs.
With it, Prahb is now able to express how he’s feeling, ask for things he needs, and connect with those around him in a way he never could before.
