You can help kids like Avi this Christmas. Avi is two and has an incurable form of motor neurone disease that progressively robs babies of movement until they can’t breathe anymore. Most kids who have it don’t live to see their 1st birthday.
But little Avi is a miracle. An experimental treatment has given her back time and, incredibly, this year Avi made it to two and is learning to move around by herself.
This Christmas Avi has a brand new wheelchair thanks to big-hearted Aussies donating to Variety – the Children’s Charity. In it, she can enjoy special times like park visits, playgroup with her friends and Christmas with her family.
