Variety has provided an unforgettable experience for 230 disadvantaged students to attend the recent NRL All Stars game in Townsville. The recipients of this special opportunity were students from the NRL Cowboy’s House boarding school, who hail from some of North Queensland’s most remote and educationally disadvantaged communities.

The students attend NRL Cowboy’s House to gain a high school education and pave the way to a brighter future. Many students also benefit from the Variety Learning Centre located on the girl’s campus. The Variety Learning Centre provides additional learning support outside the classroom, including access to tutoring and employment pathways.

The excitement and enthusiasm among the students were palpable. For many of them, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness their favorite sport played live.

Variety is proud to be making a positive impact on education and cultural inclusivity. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, Variety is able to provide experiences like these and empower disadvantaged youth to reach their full potential.
