Variety Empowers 173 Queensland Kids for School Success

Imagine starting the school year without the tools you need to succeed. For 173 Queensland kids, that was a harsh reality – until the Variety EduKids program stepped in to provide their booklist essentials.

Without textbooks, stationery, and other basic tools, these kids stood at a disadvantage even before stepping into the classroom. Now, equipped with the tools they need, these children walk into their classrooms with heads held high, ready to learn alongside their peers.

Pictured below is just one of the deserving kids who received a booklist pack.

This was all made possible thanks to the support of Stationery Aid and QITE. Variety has an ongoing partnership with Stationery Aid who provided a grant of $4,422 to set 67 kids up for success this school year. In addition to this, QITE donated $7,000 towards funding 104 students who attend NRL Cowboys House. These students hail from remote indigenous communities and access the Variety Learning Centre which assists them to complete a high school education.

Variety is grateful for the support of the local community and organisations like Stationery Aid and QITE who make our mission possible. Thanks to their support and generosity, we are paving brighter futures for kids who need it most.
