The Variety Financial Literacy Program equips students at special schools across Queensland with essential financial skills. Through the program, students engage in interactive sessions, workshops, and real-world scenarios to develop practical financial knowledge, including budgeting, savings strategies, and informed decision-making.

The program not only improves financial literacy among students living with disabilities, but also builds their confidence and ability to achieve financial independence. Unfortunately, people living with a disability are often targeted and more vulnerable to financial scams and malpractice. The program aims to empower students as they transition into young adulthood with skills and knowledge needed to make informed decisions, ensuring they are less at risk.

The Variety Financial Literacy Program is paving the way for brighter and more secure financial futures. Recently, graduations have been held for students who have successfully completed this year’s program. Take a look at some of the photos from our visit at Aspley Special School!
