Gold Coast Rollerblaze Wheelchair Basketball is an all inclusive program providing wheelchair basketball opportunities for the wider Gold Coast community and earlier this year they reached out for help.

The club only had standard hoops and equipment which made it tricky for the smaller players to shoot hoops like the rest of their team.

Thanks to a grant funded by the exceptional, Reegan Pellowe, Gold Coast Rollarblaze was provided new hoops and other modified equipment so all players could have the opportunity to shoot and score for the team.

But it didn’t stop there! As a thank you, the club hosted a game day in Variety’s honour. Reegan, his family and some of our Miss World contestants spent the day being shown the ropes and shooting hoops with the team.
