Kathryn Algoe

Kathryn is an accredited Financial Counsellor who has been working in the industry for 15 years. Kathryn has worked with a wide range of clients including but not limited to people who have been dealing with drug and alcohol addictions, gambling addiction, domestic violence, elder abuse, mental health issues and homelessness.

Kathryn is passionate about financial counselling and assisting clients to reach their financial wellbeing and independence. Prior to becoming a Financial Counsellor Kathryn was a Foreign Exchange Currency Trader in London. She has one adult son and in her spare time enjoys going out with friends, travelling and cooking.

• Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling) – Accredited member of Financial Counsellors’ Association of Queensland
• Financial Counselling Problem Gambling Skillset
• Certificate in Professional Supervision – Australian Counselling Association
• Bond University Personal Insolvency Practitioners Course
• Justice of the Peace (Qualified)
