Announcing the winners of Variety Heart Lottery 0002! Congrats to grand prize winner Kelvin Bruckner of Ipswich (ticket #2990) for taking home $10,000! And congrats to bonus prize winner Ray Van Den Burke who won the Variety Bash VIP experience.

Kelvin’s winning ticket was sold by Damien Lacey, who will be entering the Variety Bash in August for the first time with Darren Vassie as part of Bash Car 65. Plus they’ll be taking on the 2019 ARB Variety 4WD Adventure next July! Ray’s winning ticket was sold by Scott Peatey of Bash Car 47, who coincidentally sold both winning tickets of Variety Heart Lottery 0001.

Variety – the Children’s Charity presented the cheque for $10,000 to Kelvin at Darren’s business, Custom RV Creations & Repairs in Sumner Park.

Kelvin works for Queensland Rail and buys tickets in every charity raffle or lottery because he wants to support the cause, but this is his first win. He bought the winning ticket at a Custom RV open day where Darren and Damien were fundraising for the Variety Bash. Although Kelvin initially thought it was a scam when he got the phone call from Variety, he’s since made plans for spending the big ten grand. First on his list? Giving his two kids a generous gift!

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets to give Aussie kids a fair go! Remember – Variety Heart Lottery 0003 is now open with another $10,000 up for grabs and a bonus prize draw for a Lady Musgrave Island day tour for four. Become a VIP so you never miss a draw: www.varietyheartlottery.com.au
