We help when others can't
Variety helps thousands of children and their families each year with financial support for things like equipment, therapy, and medical supplies. We aim to ‘fill the gaps’ and prioritise requests for which there is no or limited government support.
Who is eligible?
Organisations must be a registered business and be able to provide an ABN/ACN number upon request.
Applications can be seeking full or partial funding for equipment.
Where partial funding is sought, applications need to have already secured remaining funds required for the equipment/project.
Applications will only be considered for organisations who cater for children aged 0 – 17 years who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
Variety Victoria does not give cash donations – we only fund the purchase of equipment and tangible items.
How to apply?
Variety Victoria has three funding rounds per year. Individuals or organisations can apply for one piece of equipment/program per funding round. There must be an 18 month gap between successful applications. Please contact the Variety Victoria office for funding round dates.
The Variety Smile Program and the Wigs for Kids Program are open year round.
