Amber is a proudly Autistic leader, advocate and parent, with more than 15 years’ experience leading large-scale transformation, leadership and culture initiatives. She is known for her ability to translate complex change into environments where people feel connected, confident and supported.
Amber currently serves on the Joint Education Support Centre (JESC) Board and brings a strong commitment to embedding inclusion into governance and organisational practice. Her work champions psychosocial safety, lived-experience leadership and approaches to belonging that are practical, sustainable and grounded in evidence.
Amber’s lived experience as both a disabled professional and a parent of two children with disabilities gives her a uniquely holistic perspective. She understands inclusion from multiple vantage points – as a leader, a community member and a parent – and brings this insight to shaping systems that better support children and families.
Combining strategic insight with empathy and curiosity, Amber brings a thoughtful, values-led approach to governance. She is passionate about building organisations where people feel safe to be themselves and able to contribute fully – because when inclusion is done well, outcomes improve for everyone.
