René brings nearly three decades of experience in the creative and media industry and currently leads 303 MullenLowe Perth, one of Western Australia’s most established and progressive agencies. His career spans senior roles in Perth and Melbourne, where he has built a reputation for combining strategic clarity with creative ambition to deliver meaningful outcomes for clients. At 303 MullenLowe, René oversees a diverse team working with some of WA’s most recognisable brands, including Lotterywest, DFES, HBF and Royal Life Saving WA.
A graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course, René also contributes his expertise across the not-for-profit and cultural sectors as Patron of the Perth Advertising and Design Club (PADC), and as a board member for Respiratory Care WA and the Revelation Perth International Film Festival. He is a strong advocate for the role creativity plays in shaping vibrant communities and industries.
René’s connection to Variety WA stretches back to his childhood- his father, John Migliore, is a Life Member and one of the organisation’s founding board members. René has previously served on the Variety WA Board and currently sits on the Finance & Risk Committee, bringing strategic insight and long-standing commitment to the organisation’s mission.
