Fundraising for Variety – the Children’s Charity is fun! And you’ll be a real hero to the children we support.

If you already have an idea for a fundraising event, we’re here for you every step of the way. Your event can be big or small – creative or conventional. Whether it’s a small fundraiser at home for five friends or a super-sized event at your school or workplace, your event will make a real difference to children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.

Any funds raised through events go to wherever help is most urgently needed. You can learn more about how Variety helps children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs in the ‘how we help’ section of our website.

While we do everything we can to help make your fundraising event a success, there are some things you’ll need to do yourself.

You will need to manage any ticket sales, soliciting of prizes, or organising celebrities.

You will also need to manage your event logistics, keep track of your finances and record keeping, and look after any raffles or collection of money.

Don’t feel as though you need to ‘go it alone’. You’d be surprised at just how keen your family and friends will be to help!

Please let us know if you need help with fundraising materials or would like to use our logo. We’d also love to keep a copy of what you’re sending out, so please get in touch.

Our preferred wording for events is “Proudly supporting Variety – the Children’s Charity.”
