Dear Variety SA Family,
As we close out the year, I want to express my heartfelt thanks. Serving as Chair for the past two years has been an incredible honour. Variety is more than an organisation – it’s a family, and I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved together.
To our amazing staff and CEO Mark McGill – thank you for your tireless dedication. And to our members, volunteers, entrants, sponsors, supporters, and donors – your generosity makes everything possible. You are the heartbeat of Variety.
This year, our Grants Committee and team worked tirelessly to ensure every dollar raised creates real impact. Thanks to your support, we’ve distributed over $5.7m, positively impacting 65,424 of South Australia’s most vulnerable children. Your passion and kindness are changing lives every day.
In 2026, I’ll be handing over the role of Chair to Selena Bushell. Selena has been an outstanding Deputy Chair and a wonderful support to me personally. I know she will lead with the same heart and vision that makes Variety so special. Please join me in congratulating her.
