Variety SA Bash 2025: Ocean Swirls & Vintage Twirls

August 17, 2025 by Variety South Australia

This year was a record-breaking year for all things Bash. Thanks to efforts of everyone involved, the 2025 SA Variety Bash raised an incredible $2,704,300 (net). This is the highest total ever achieved in the event’s 40-year history.

The colorful convoy of 132 travelled 2,383km across South Australia to help kids who are sick, disadvantaged or living with disability. The route took our entrants through Bendleby Ranges, Leigh Creek, William Creek, Coober Pedy, Glendambo and Port Augusta, before finishing in Tanunda, bringing colour, fun and purpose to towns along the way.

The lasting impacts of the Variety Bash can be felt across the state, with an economic boost to rural and regional with 6 separate bashes happening across different areas of the state. Entrants contribute to local businesses through spending food, hospitality, fuel, accommodation and vehicle repairs along the SA routes.

On top of that, having an all-SA bash route meant grants were distributed statewide. Entrants were able to see first-hand how they have impacted lives and communities, with over $400,000 grants being delivered.

Variety SA acknowledges the generous support of Bash Supporting Partner the IGC and Pubs with Heart, and thanks it’s Gold Sponsors: Seeley International, MGA Whittles, Tim Adams Wines / Mr. Mick, Codan, Fasta Pasta, Kennards Hire, Cochrane’s Transport, Ramsey Bros, ARB 4×4 Accessories, Toyota Australia, Vili’s Family Bakery, AMPM and Ultra Tune.
