Twelve of South Australia’s most celebrated wineries came together on Friday, 26 September 2025, for the Variety Vintage Wine Auction Luncheon — a premier wine event that raised vital funds for children in need.
Held at the National Wine Centre of Australia, the luncheon saw guests indulge in a three-course meal paired with exquisite local wines while mingling with some of the state’s finest winemakers.
Each participating winery generously donated a barrel of their 2023/2024 vintage, bottled under the distinctive Variety Vintage label and auctioned exclusively at the event. The rare, limited-edition wines attracted strong interest from collectors and wine lovers alike.
The 2025 event was proudly sponsored by A.P. John Coopers, with supporting wineries including Metala Wines, Charles Melton, Di Giorgio, Hentley Farm, Bosward Wines, Parker Estate, Paracombe, Penny’s Hill, Peter Lehmann, Seppeltsfield, Tim Adams Wines, and Wicks Estate.
