Variety Kids Picnic at the Adelaide Zoo (September 2022)
Not even today’s rain could dampen the spirits of the 1000 kids in need and their carers that attended the Variety Kids Picnic at the Adelaide Zoo. 
Kids in attendance were entertained by all of the resident zoo animals, a SANFL handball game, and got the chance to meet lots of different mascots – Variety’s Sheridan Bear, Police Credit Union‘s POCU, Port Adelaide Football Club‘s Thunda, Life Education‘s Healthy Harold, Adelaide Strikers‘ Smash and Summer and SA Variety Bash – Team Avengers. They also enjoyed a massive sausage sizzle which was kindly managed and donated by the Rotary Club of Unley & Rotary Club of Campbelltown.
