Congratulations to Geoff Kilford on receiving an individual Variety From the Heart Award.
Geoff began his Variety journey as MW5 on the Bash in 2010, stepping into the MW1 role in 2015, and in 2025 celebrated his 16th Bash. Across the years, Geoff has continually shown his dedication to helping kids in need and supporting the Variety community.
In 2022 and 2023, Geoff expanded the MW1 role to include support for AMCR entrants, and in 2025 he will also take on the MW1 role for the Moto Run, demonstrating his adaptability, leadership and unwavering commitment.
Geoff exemplifies the spirit of Variety through his unassuming, calm, methodical and dedicated leadership always paired with the cheekiest grin on the Bash. His extraordinary mechanical skill in, under and around all types of cars continues to add immense value to our events and ensures entrants are supported every step of the way.
In 2023, Geoff’s dedication to the Bash was recognised with the Doug Lehmann Award, an honour warmly received by the entire Variety family.
