CEO Mark McGill joins Variety from the Adelaide Football Club where for the past 5 years he was Manager of Commercial Projects, a role that was responsible for driving new and innovative revenue streams. In an ever changing commercial marketplace this experience will be well placed at Variety to expand and diversify our income generation avenues.
Previously Mark was the General Manager of the McGuiness McDermott Foundation (now Little Heroes) where he was involved from its inception in 1996 building the Foundations strong profile, creating unique events including the Slowdown matches and building long term business partnerships. Mark has also enjoyed marketing, event management, sponsorship and sales experience on the eastern seaboard through the South Sydney Football Club, Taronga Zoo, Brisbane Biennial Festival and Moomba Festival.
Mark’s genuine passion for the not-for-profit sector combined with his unique commercial background will translate into a positive contribution to Variety SA over the years to come.
Away from the office Mark enjoys time with his family, a range of sporting activities and is a keen traveller.
