Congratulations Peter Lloyd on receiving Variety From the Heart International Presidential Citation.
Peters’ contribution extends to an amazing 30 years. Peter is a highly valued member of the 4WD adventure committee, offering his vast knowledge of the South Australian outback to deliver vital event logistics for entrants’ enjoyment.
Peter first became involved in Variety in 1995 as a volunteer support official for the Variety 4WD adventure.
He manages working-bees pre- and post-event to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and to deliver improvements in infrastructure.
Peter was awarded a Tom Matters Award in 2009 in recognition of his incredible dedication and commitment over so many years. Peter expanded his tireless service to Variety South Australia through the Bash and has completed 14 Variety events to date – Five years as a volunteer support crew and 9 years both as an Official and with Bash catering.
Peter is a highly respected and admired member of the Variety family and his contribution is to be acknowledged and revered.
