William is a talented sixteen year old Aussie Rules Footballer and Variety Heart Scholarship recipient living in Loxton, South Australia.
He is zoned to play (Aussie Rules Football) for the West Adelaide Football club and was a member of the U16’s squad in 2016. William had to regularly travel from home in the Riverland to Adelaide for training and games throughout the season.
He was also scouted for the Under 16’s South Australian State team and made the squad of 40. As part of the Variety SA Heart Scholarship program, William has been provide assistance allowing him to continue in his pursuit of a life long dream. Variety SA assisted by helping fund his; membership, insurance, travel, uniform and training costs.
Progressing to the U18’s next year at West Adelaide, William has his aim set on playing in the AFL one day.
