4WD Challenge Orientation Day, 2017

It was ‘Back to School’ for our entrants at the 2017 Variety SA 4WD Challenge Orientation Day, proudly sponsored by Jarvis Toyota.

Each year, all of our 4WD Challengers are invited along to orientation day. An opportunity for the new entrants to meet other event participants whilst learning the capabilities of their vehicles and ensuring their vehicles and skills are ready to go come 25 March.

This year we checked out from Hahndorf and followed the less traveled route to Saunders Gorge Sanctuary, where drivers and passengers got a taste for the tracks soon to be encountered. Driving around skill testing tracks and some more difficult yet optional obstacles, meant every one could be challenged.

A fantastic lunch prepared by CAT4 followed, and we were very lucky with the rain not to have dampened spirits.
